Just a Messiah's Misfit

God has put us who bear his Message on stage in a theater in which no one wants to buy a ticket.

Same Bat time; Same Bat channel;

Or so they would always say at the close of the weekly Batman episode to entice you to watch next week. I have been waiting for 15 days – give or take – to go to this doctor’s appt today at 4:00.  A lot of planning went into this.  I had to get off work – which sometimes, is no easy feat; John had to get off work; plans to pick up Hannah had to be made – and then rearranged at the last minute, but it was all going to work out.  I’ve tried to not let this stupid appointment bother me in the first place, but as time has gone by, it finally got to me.  John has been very supportive… Tara called me yesterday in the middle of the day to encourage me… but still, in the end, it got to me.

So after a very productive morning at work on the Super Secret Project, John and I head off to the Hidalgo County Appraisal District to instruct them on how to do their jobs the correct way since they obviously can’t figure it out on their own.  In the back of my mind, I’m thinking “only four more hours to go.”

Then there is the phone call.  You know… the one that says:  “gee, Ms. Kohrt, we are soooooooooo sorry, but the doctor had an emergency this morning and will not be able to see you today  BUT we CAN reschedule you for this time NEXT week”.  Talk about ruining your day.
